After reviewing the components lab, I understand more how important resistors are to giving a circuit function

Setting Up Bread Board

I'm still a bit shaky on the direction that current flows through the board, and how to identify Which part is the ground.

In the photo on the right I noticed that when I removed the regulator the green LED would shine brighter than with the regulator.

Electronics and Using Multi-Meter

Successfully got readings around 2.7V between the LED and the 220 Ohm resistor. I believe the rest of the 3.3V must be lost to heat.
